Haverfordwest County Chairman, David Hughes writes,
" It was encouraging to see a vastly improved attendance of nearly 1000 at Merthyr Town's home game this weekend. Let's hope that this support can be maintained to ease the financial tension at that club. With much hard work and community spirit they will overcome their difficulties.
Which beckons me to politely ask, could this, perhaps, be the moment when Haverfordwest County Football Club can also start to earn the support that it and especially its 1st team deserve? A tightly grouped bunch of talented young players are, at the moment, producing good football and a string of consistent results. However, it is sad that only several dozen old faithfuls are there to support the team each week. The county town surely deserves a competitive football club playing at the highest possible level? A good following should be part of any success achieved on the field of play and with that comment in mind , the players, management and the club's directors would welcome the support of any Pembrokeshire folk to the Conygar Bridge Meadow Stadium. You are guaranteed a warm welcome.
Our next home game: Saturday 9th December 2017 v Port Talbot kick off 2.30 pm?
We look forward to seeing you there. Please bring along your friends."
