Christopher saves Blues Blushes

A late goal by Jack Christopher earned the Aspire sponsored Bluebirds a point against bottom club Caernarfon, and kept them in 6th place in the Welsh Premier League. For a full report of the match click here

 

Hanford Called up to Semi-Pro Under 23 Squad

Craig Hanford has been rewarded for some stirling defensive play and attacking flair, with a call up to the Welsh Semi-pro squad for Tuesdays game against Finland Stebbonheath. This brings the number of Bluebirds in the squad to three with Jack Christopher and Lee Idzi having all ready been selected. A report of the game will appear on the website later this week.

 

Dai Landry Honoured by Club

1961 Bluebird legend Dai Landry was unable to attend the game when the tem was honoured, and received his commemorative photo after the Caernarfon game. Click here for the report.

Get well soon Shaker!

The players, officials and fans of the Club would like to send it's best wishes to Bluebird legend, Ron 'Shaker' Davies, who has recently had to undergo surgery. We all wish him a speedy recovery and hope to see him at the ground again soon.

Holiday Fixture Date Switched.

The club announced today that the Boxing Day fixture against Aberystwyth Town has been re-arranged for Saturday the 27th of December. The kick off wil be at 2:30. The change of date was agreed with Aberystwyth and has been sanctioned by the League and the FAW.
The club felt that by switching the date, it would allow fans and players to spend more time with their families over Christmas prior to the heavy holiday soccer period.

More Legends Visit the Meadow

At the home game against Caernarfon Town on Saturday, several ex Bluebirds were introduced to the crowd at half time. Earlier this season, the Club honoured the 1961 Welsh League Cup winning side. Unfortunately, Dai Landry was unable to attend then due to a previous commitment. Yesterday, Dai was introduced to the crowd, along with Paul Phillips, Huw Knight, Mickey George, and Nigel Stevenson.
