The Supporter's Association Man of the Match Award for the 2008-09 season is sponsored by Jehu (West) ltd. We would like to than Marc Jehu and Shaun Taverner for their support of and enthusiasm for the man of the match award. Jehu (West) is part of Jehu Project Services.

December

Jack Christopher won the Jehu (West) Man of the Match award for his two goal performance against GAP Connah's Quay. It was the third time the young striker has won the award this season...and it's still only December.

Neil Thomas was voted Man of the Match for his stirling performance in the Christmas fixture against Aberystwyth Town, in which he also scored a goal. Neil was unable to accept the award, so Derek Brazil received the award on his behalf from Haverfodwest County and Wales legend Mel Charles.

Mike Hartley won the Man of the Match award after his performance in County's 4-2 defeat of CPD Porthmadog. Mike received his award from 1970's Bluebird legend Martin Cole who was introduced, with fellow legend Simon Clarke, to the crowd at half time. Simon is standing behind Martin in this picture.



The Man of the Match for the match against Caernarfon Town was Dylan Blain. Dylan is seen here receiving his award from Dai Landry, who played in the 1961 Welsh League Cup winning side. Dai was being honoured at the game along with several other Legends.

October

Legendary Bluebird keeper, Tal Harris, presents Nicky Woodrow with his award after the match against Prestatyn Town, in which he scored two goals.

For the second game in succession, Lee Jarman was voted Man of the Match for his part in the Bluebird's 2-2 draw with TNS on the 10th of the month. He joins Jack Christopher as a winner of two man of the match awards this season.

 

Defender Lee Jarman was voted the Jehu (West) Man of the Match against Aberystwyth Town on Tuesday the 7th of October, for a stirling display in the Loosemore's Cup.

 

September

Hat trick hero Jack Christopher recieves the Jehu (West) Man of the Match award from manager Derek Brazil after the Bluebird's 3-0 home victory over Airbus. It is the second time Jack has won the award this season. Neil Thomas holds the season record for man of the match awards, having won it three times.

Terry Evans receives the Jehu (West) man of the match award from Bluebirds legend George Brain, after starring in Haverfordwest County's 2-0 win against Caersws on the 5th of September. George was a member of the 1961 Welsh League Challenge Cup winning team, some of whom were being honoured by the club and the Supporter's Association that night.


August

Tom Ramasut is shown receiving the Jehu (West) man of the match award from manager Derek Brazil, following a storming second half performance in County's first home league match against Carmarthen town on the 22nd of August. Trailing at half time, Haverfordwest levelled the scores through a Jack Christopher goal, to share the points.
